Android 64 Bits, 7 Exynos for Samsung Announce Galaxy S6

Along with the time of the release of the Nexus 6, it turns out Samsung also announced a new processor called the Exynos 7. The successor Exynos 6 is claimed to have performance that is two times better than its predecessor.

Samsung still rely big.LITLE as the latest processor technology. But this time the architecture has changed, no longer using the Cortex-A7 and Cortex-A15 which is still limited to 32-bit computing.

Exynos 7 has now been equipped with the Cortex-A53 and Cortex-A57. Amazingly, you can bet that Samsung's brand-new processor supports 64-bit computing. Samsung has also used the 20 nm manufacturing process to produce Exynos 7.

As reported by Phone Arena, Thursday (October 16 2014), Samsung claims Exynos 7 has a performance up to 57% better than the Exynos 5. Unfortunately there is no comparison with the Exynos 6 which is now used by the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4.

Analysts said the Exynos 7 very likely will be embedded by Samsung in Galaxy S5 successor. Moreover, the new Lollipop Android 5.0 Google has also announced support 64-bit computing, so in accordance with the Exynos 7 is also 64 bits.
