After Google announced the Android 5.0 Lollipop, Motorola confirmed their smartphones that will receive updates of the operating system.
As quoted from Motorola on Thursday (October, 16 2014), the smartphone is the Moto X (first and second generation), Moto G (first and second generation), G 4G LTE Moto, Moto E and three mobile phones from the Droid series: namely ultra, as well as the Mini Maxx. Unfortunately, Motorola has not mention the date of availability of the update.
While Google promises Lollipop will be available on the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10 as well as the tools Google Play Edition (GPE) within the next few weeks. GPE device in question is the motto of the G and HTC M8.
Previous HTC also mentioned that they needed at least 90 days to release the update for the devices, calculated from the time of the release of Google.
Lollipop is the Android OS updates that have most changes in appearance since Google released Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The most obvious difference between Lollipop and KitKat - Android OS earlier - certainly is a display interface, which name code is Material Design.
