SD Card Functionality on Android Available Now

Google has tried to remove the SD card, one of them did not include it in the Nexus device and continue to remove the functions of Android, but it will change with  released of Android 5.0.

Google actually start to bring back some of the functions of the SD card on Android 4.4, but it is not made to maximized.

Google has added a new API in Android 5.0 which is designed to allow users with easy access to the SD card in a secure way.

Basically, developers can fully access the SD card directory and files. While users can access an application that can create a directory to store media on the SD card much easier.

Currently, users have to wait for developers to update their applications and software manufacturers to produce Android 5.0. Lollipop Android allows developers to bring back many of the functions previously lost.
